Randi and Ellen are hoping that by producing as many male toys as possible, the women will see what they have been missing in their lives and the Anti-Male government won’t be able to do anything once the women have the men.

Randi is so excited. She has used DNA with nanite technology to create a male, hoping that in a few generations, he will become human. He has given himself the name of William and he is more than Randi could have hoped for. As she spends more and more time with William, Randi notices he is all she thinks about. William wants to prove to Randi that he is more than a machine; he is human. As the date nears when William will be revealed, the unthinkable happens. Will Randi recover after the tragedy? Will there be any more DNA for research, or has the Anti-Male group won?

Wow! What a page-turner Sexed Up by Sally Painter is. I had read excerpts from this book but was totally unprepared for the way Ms. Painter took me on a roller coaster ride of surprises and emotions. Just when I thought I had things figured out, there was another twist to the plot. It is brilliant the way Ms. Painter ties the story together. The feelings that William goes through, the discoveries he makes, were so real I almost forgot I was reading a book. I loved the curve that was thrown into Randi’s life. Just when she thought she knew what was going on, another surprise would surface. Sexed Up is a fantastic book and I highly recommend it.
